I show you how to make a simple Czech hors d'oeuvre called Nivové koule. It is a ball of blue cheese, and butter. It is coated with Hungarian paprika, and tooth picked to a piece of bread.

Recipe:

8oz or 226 g Blue cheese

1 stick 4 oz or 113 g softened butter

~4 Italian bread sticks

~4 tablespoons Hungarian paprika

~1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper

Optional, ~1/2 bag of pearl onions, sliced

Procedure:

Grate the blue cheese. Using your CLEAN hands mix with butter in a proper mixing bowl. Set it in the refrigerator.

Bake off your bread sticks, once they are cool. Slice into 3/4” pieces.

In a small dish, mix your paprika, and cayenne pepper.

If using unions, prepare them into little sliced onion wheels.

Portion your buttery cheesy mixture into balls, using your CLEAN hands. Make your balls the same diameter as the bread sticks.

Roll the ballz in the paprika until they are covered evenly.

Then, using a tooth pick, secure the ball, (and onion slice, if used) to the bread stick slice.

Repeat, util you are done.

and then, We drink!
